Families and Groups

Nuarro Lodge is a great place for family holidays, allowing you to escape hectic home-life and enjoy quality time with your family in this tropical paradise. It is also a fantastic opportunity for children to experience rural Mozambique life!

Our dedicated team are excellent with children and have creative ways to entertain your children when parents are out participating in some of the activities or having a quite moment together.

There are many different activities to keep children of all ages entertained. Most of the activities are child-friendly:- there is snorkelling from the beach, kayaking (double and single kayaks), stand-up paddle board, mountain bikes, beach volleyball and of course PADI scuba diving (from 8 years). These can all be arranged as guided activities, so our very capable team will accompany children. For the very young children there is always building sand castles on the gorgeous 2km long beach, and as a last resort for teens, there are video games available for those who cannot live without them.

Children

Nuarro’s beach is perfect for children of all ages. With low tide the small tidal pool is teeming with marine life and fish. There is also always a conversation to be had with other children on the beach from the lodge and the nearby community.

Afonso, Nuarro’s amazing Chef, always looks forward to being able to have fun and make the most scrumptious “kiddie” food, specifically designed to have the desired effect on fussy eaters.

Family Rooms

The family rooms are designed for families of 3 and 4, all beds have a mosquito net and cots (and high chairs) are also available on request.
